The Trident nuclear weapons system would cost tens of billions of pounds. It’s a huge amount of money to be spending on nukes when we’re facing big cuts to other services. There's already a big argument raging in government about whether or not Trident should go ahead. We might be able to tip the balance with a big campaign to spend the money on schools, hospitals and police officers instead.
